The Slumber Tribe Story

"I FOUNDED SLUMBER TRIBE TO PROVIDE MELBOURNE KIDS WITH AMAZING SLUMBER PARTY EXPERIENCES. I LOVE SEEING MY DAUGHTER ENJOYING ALL OF THE SLUMBER PARTY GAMES AND ANTICS WITH HER FRIENDS AND SLUMBER TRIBE ALLOWS ME TO SHARE THAT WITH OTHERS." - FIONA MILLAR

As a Melbourne mum that grew up enjoying slumber parties (sleepovers) mostly with my cousins and camping, I am so pleased to offer Melbourne kids the chance to have a fantastic glamping experience within the comfort and safety of their home. Our Slumber Tribe indoor teepee tents provide a fantastic setting for any child or teens slumber party adventure.

Slumber Tribe was inspired by my seven year old daughter's first sleepover experience at our home with four of her friends. I wanted to make it really special so I searched around to find some ideas. Having worked in the rag trade for many years at Anthea Crawford and Scanlan Theodore, the search for beautiful textiles and designs was something I enjoyed immensely. Sure enough I come across some great images on Pinterest, my go to for DIY inspiration and so we decided to try it. The slumber party was a success and the kids had a ball and that's where Slumber Tribe began.

I hope you enjoy our designs and I look forward to helping with your next slumber party.

HERALD SUN NEWSPAPER 30 MARCH 2017

"A MELBOURNE mum has launched a pitch-perfect small business of indoor teepees, taking slumber parties to the next generation of happy campers. Motivated by her eight year old daughter’s first sleepover, former fashion production manager and trends consultant, Fiona Millar, 48 from Kew, wanted to make the experience as special as possible, and was inspired by her own childhood memories."
